Third Year

We are nearing the completion of the third year at our new home. How time flies! But this is not the time to rest on our laurels as funds are still needed.

For example, we need specialised audiology testing equipment for our very young children to improve the accuracy and speed up the process of assessment. This will cost approx £14,000.

The crescent of sound is now up and running; we have raised £28,000 to do this. It is to see if two ears work better than one! Patients have already started participating in studies. The information we obtain will help in future programming and we will be able to feed back information to NICE. Our goal is bilateral funding for adults now that it is available for children.

Many thanks to all who have donated to the charity especially in these economic times. Your support does not always need to be financial - we could always do with help and support at our various fundraising events. Breeda will always give you a big welcome.
